About the job
Our Client is a Chinese bank in Hong Kong. It is now inviting high caliber professionals to join their Banking Group
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the Treasury operations activities, day-to-day clearing and settlements of Treasury products, debit card transaction, lending products to meet the financial obligations of the Bank.
- Established a set of Branch operation procedures for supporting the branch opening.
- Liaise with system vendor our system requirements and implementation plan.
- Design the workflow and control for Treasury and Payment operations to ensure full regulatory compliance with the Bank and HKMA.
- Handle onboarding process and application documentations for Interbank account opening.
- Liaise with cross functional team such as Treasury and Finance, Risk Management, Technology and for resolving any operational, settlement and system issues relating to Treasury. Loan and payment products.
- Assist Local IT to design the system infrastructure (e.g. SWIFTAlliance / e-MBT & eCMT/ HKMA TR / Bulk Clearing / FPS).
- Design the operation team structure, budgets and headcount for initial branch setup.
- Need to support the full branch daily operation when the business started. (Cash management / Trade Finance / Loan operations / Treasury operations / Client On-boarding…etc).
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above
- At least 8 years of relevant working experience
- Strong communication and coordination skills
