About the job
Our client is looking for the Deputy to Department Head, the role require leading a team of RM to drive business and pursue business opportunities for the Department.
Responsibilities
• Supervise a team of Relationship Managers to promote Bank products and services to local Corporate
• Manage client’s portfolio, assessing and mitigating credit and industry risks with appropriate transaction structure and client strategy. Monitor performance and credit status of clients and take necessary proactive actions.
• Achieve sustainable revenue and other business targets, aligning with the Bank’s business strategy
• Promote cross-sell to corporate clients to embed ESG initiatives in the client portfolio
• Strictly follow to Head Office/regional topics, ensure Bank’s strategy and policies are being shared and implement within the team.
• Collaborate with Product Offices, including transactional banking, MUS, O&D, FX, derivatives, structured trade, structured asset finance, project financing…etc, to provide expertise and value added to clients
• Oversee staff performance and establish team spirit for driving positive mind set.
• Complete KPIs and assigned targets within stipulated timeframe.
Requirements
• Over 12 years of experience in Corporate Banking Business including experience in managing local Corporate.
• Strong in coaching, mentoring and people management with strategic business acumen.
• Possess deep product/industry knowledge (e.g. transaction banking, derivatives, structured finance, trade finance, capital market, business matching, ESG, M&A finance, and etc.)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with other regions and departments
